Having established the "bed" portion of my Bed, Bath and Beyond celestial magic project, this post moves on to the "bath." I used the nativity of the Baths of Caracalla as a formula to enchant some bath salts.

I learned an important lesson about patience. I already understood that all workings take time and that we have some ability to tweak that time. But, I can still be caught by surprise when my decisions don't play out the way I expected.
It's beginning to become apparent to me that these celestial magic workings are imbuing objects with a kind of low-level spirit. These spirits are something less than a full blown god or daimon, but something more than just a spell.
Like other spirits, these talismans respond to regular attention, though so far they don't speak or communicate. They're more like automata than egregores.
