When beginning a more complex operation, I'll often employ glyphs to help organize my thoughts and formerly initiate the spell to my conscious mind. This particular operation is for a project wherein a spirit has found itself trapped, partly due to circumstance and possibly due to foul play. The spirit requested my assistance and I've decided to respond by amplifying the local land energies, injecting some additional martian-like energy, and installing a sun around which everything can orbit. The current configuration of the area was somewhat messy, but had many of the ingredients present. They only need some reorganizing.
It's probably apparent that I'm using a planetary model for this approach. I'll be honest, the planetary system isn't my preferred mode of practice, but I'm enjoying the experimentation.
I love the use of symbols and glyphs to both work things out / break things down that I’m struggling to grasp.
They are also great for teaching too, and of course great to stop others from learning. Symbols are a useful tool that gets used a lot in closed traditions / practices and with the would be ‘gatekeeper’
Symbology is of course the language of the universe and once you get used to taking down your own notes in the form of symbols, it then becomes a lot easier to read the notebook of the universe.
